Festival Schedule

    Now in its Fourth year, the Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival has featured a wide selection of contemporary electroacoustic art music. This year's composer-in-residence is Cort Lippe.

    Cort Lippe (1963) studied composition with Larry Austin and at the Instituut voor Sonologie with G.M. Koenig. He spent three years at the Center d'Etudes de Mathematique et Automatique Musicales, directed by I. Xenakis, and was employed for six years at the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique, founded by Pierre Boulez. his works have received numerous international composition prizes including the Electronic Music Competition Bourges, Electronic Music Competition 'Luigi Russolo,' and the Prix Ars Electronica.
