Arts in Health Intensive
For 25 years, the UF Center for Arts in Medicine’s Arts in Health Intensive has served as a leading professional development program for artists, healthcare and public health professionals, administrators, and creatives interested in advancing the role of the arts in health. This immersive, interdisciplinary training explores how arts and culture contribute to individual and community wellbeing across healthcare, public health and community settings.
Participants engage with nationally and internationally recognized leaders in the field through a dynamic blend of lectures, hands-on workshops, discussions, and collaborative learning experiences. The Intensive is designed to support individuals at all stages whether you are new to arts in health or looking to deepen and expand your practice offering practical tools and real-world applications you can carry into your work.
Beyond skill-building, the program fosters meaningful connections, creating space to exchange ideas, build networks, and become part of a growing community dedicated to integrating the arts into health and well-being.
