How to apply:
Deadlines for Spring 2027 Applications: Early review must be submitted by September 15, 2026; final review must be submitted by November 1, 2026
NOTE: Once your application is submitted, the following application supporting materials can be submitted to CAMadmissions@arts.ufl.edu.
- Personal Statement: Tell us why you are interested in this degree, and what your career goals are. This two-page statement should describe (1) your goals and tell us how you envision this program will help you accomplish them, and (2) how you would facilitate or coordinate creative experiences for people in a healthcare and/or community setting to support health. Please email your personal statement of purpose to CAMAdmissions@arts.ufl.edu.
- Letters of Recommendation: Please request two (2) required letters of recommendation from faculty or professionals who can speak to your ability to be successful in a graduate program. Please direct recommenders to submit letters of recommendation directly to CAMadmissions@arts.ufl.edu.
- CV/Resume: Please include any pertinent professional or volunteer experience with the arts, with health, or with arts in health. Email your most recent CV/resume to CAMAdmissions@arts.ufl.edu.
- Official Transcripts: The UF Graduate School only needs to review your Bachelor’s degree transcripts to determine admission eligibility. These can be submitted to UF electronically through your university services, by official email to UF Admissions via te@admissions.ufl.edu, or physical transcripts may be sent to UF Office of Admissions, PO Box 114000, S201 Criser Hall, Gainesville, FL 32611-4000.
NOTE: There is also a section to upload unofficial transcripts, which can expedite faculty review. - Writing Sample: All applicants must submit one piece of long-form writing, such as a research paper, essay, article, report, or proposal. The ideal writing sample has either been graded, published, submitted to an organization, peer-reviewed, or adheres to other professional or academic standards.
