UF Trumpet Ensemble performs at ITG in Anaheim, California

The UF Trumpet Ensemble (Aaron Lovelady, Lucas Owen, Josh Drourr, and Brooks James) performed at the 2016 International Trumpet Guild Conference in Anaheim, California as part of the Trumpet Preludes. They played a transcription of Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila before a masterclass given by Ronnie Romm, formerly of the Canadian Brass. The trumpeters enjoyed a week full of performances and masterclasses given by many of the world’s leading trumpet artists and were able to try out all of the trumpets and associated toys. Lucas Owen even won a new Warburton Bb Trumpet in a raffle. A fun and educational experience was had by all.
