UF “Chomp-et” Ensemble visits Boulware Springs Charter

The UF Trumpet Ensemble (also known as the UF “Chomp-et” Ensemble) recently performed at the Boulware Springs Charter School on September 6, 2017. The ensemble consisted of four trumpet performance graduate students from the School of Music: Eli Denecke, Ben Elgan, Tiffany Elkins and Leroy Lubin.

They played several Renaissance madrigals and a handful of trumpet fanfares for a group of about 75 children, 6 to 12 years old.

“We had a lot of fun playing,” graduate student Eli Denecke said. “We can’t wait to get out and do this again.”
