Brazil Deputy Consul Lucas Chalella met with School of Music Associate Professor Welson Tremura and Adjunct Professor Ulisses Rocha to pledge his offices support for the continuation of the Brazilian Music Institute in South Florida. A Knight Foundation Challenge Award winner, the Brazilian Music Institute expands the reach of our Brazilian Music program into South Florida, engaging new artist and students with well know guest artist from Brazil. The Brazilian Music Institute will return to South Florida in May 2017 with the theme of “Terra Brazil.”
