    The University of Florida (UF) School of Music, UF Student Chapter of the Society of Composers Inc. (SCI) and the UF Student Sonic Computing Organization (SCO) will present the third annual Florida Contemporary Music Festival at the UF School of Music in Gainesville, Florida, Feb. 19-22, 2015. The festival, which celebrates and explores new and adventurous contemporary compositions, will feature lectures, master classes and avant-garde performances in an assortment of mediums and styles, ranging from traditional to experimental eclectic. The event, which is sponsored in part by UF’s Student Government and is free and open to the public, will feature guest performers The Bugallo-Williams Piano Duo and guest composers Daniel Kellogg and Katharina Rosenberger.

    Thursday, February 19th:

    • 5:30 p.m., MUB, 101: Andrew Babcock doctoral composition recital
    • 7:30 p.m., University Auditorium: UF Wind Symphony Concert featuring works by Daniel Kellogg

    Friday, February 20th:

    • 10 a.m., MUB, 101: Daniel Kellogg master class
    • 12:50 p.m., MUB, 101: Contemporary Music Convocation
    • 3 p.m., MUB, 101: Presentation by Daniel Kellogg
    • 7:30 p.m., MUB, 101: Unbalanced Connection Concert featuring electroacoustic works

    Saturday, February 21st:

    • 10 a.m., MUB, 101: Katharina Rosenberger master class
    • 1 p.m., MUB, 101: Student Composers Concert
    • 3 p.m., MUB, 101: Nuclear Music: UF’s new music ensemble
    • 7:30 p.m., MUB, 101: The Bugallo-Williams Piano Duo concert

    Sunday, February 22nd:

    • 10 a.m., MUB, 101: Presentation by The Bugallo-Williams Piano Duo
    • 12 p.m., MUB, 101: Presentation by Katharina Rosenberger
    • 3 p.m., MUB 101: Concert featuring the complete Sonatas and Interludes by John Cage, performed by pianist Amy Williams
    • 7:30 p.m., MUB, 101: Closing concert featuring works by Daniel Kellogg and Katharina Rosenberg
