    Please join the College of the Arts for a presentation by Naziha Mestaoui, a Paris-based environmental artist and architect. Mestaoui will speak about her artistic practice and her yearlong Live Oak Tree of Life digital projection on Innovation Square's remaining live oak tree, which is located almost equidistant between downtown Gainesville and UF's campus and binds the two epicenters of our city.

    Naziha Mestaoui is an internationally acclaimed artist and architect. Her unique approach merges space, imagery and technological innovations of the digital era to create innovative immersive and sensory experiences.
    Mestaoui is recognized as an avant-garde artist who personifies an altruistic vision of art and insists that nature be at the very heart of cultural issues. She combines artistic talent with community action, taking strides in reforestation efforts, which have planted more than 100,000 trees around the world.
