    The internationally-known saxophone and cello duo in residence at the University of Florida’s School of Music, the Helton-Thomas Duo, will perform an eclectic program of music in recital on February 18th as a preview to their European tour which will begin two days later. The program will feature a world premiere performance of “Jigsaw” by UF music composition faculty Dr. Paul Richards. Other composers represented on the program are Libby Larsen, Arnold Jacob, Jonathan Elliott, Rebecca Clarke, and Athanasios Zervas. The saxophone and cello instrumental combination as presented by the Helton-Thomas Duo, produces a fascinating tonal blend which has captivated audiences on five continents.
