Sing for Life: Program for People with Parkinson’s Disease

The Sing for Life program seeks to achieve strategies for lifelong singing for Parkinson's patients and their care givers. Our classes include exercises for relaxation, posture, breathing and resonance. Our work together increases vocal strength and stamina and enhances general well-being.

Location: Oak Hammock at the University of Florida, 5100 S.W. 25th Boulevard, Gainesville, Florida 32608. Class meets in the Acorn Room. Participants should identify themselves to the gate guard as "Participants in Sing for Life".

Time: Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm

Instructors: Dr. Brenda Smith, School of Music Faculty and student volunteers.
