• All course grades of H, I, N, NG, and X must be resolved before the award of a graduate degree. Grades of I, X, C-, D+, D, D-, E, and U require a written petition from the supervisory committee chair, as they are not considered passing grades.
• You must have a 3.0 average overall, as well as in your major, to earn your graduate degree. Check your transcript on www.isis.ufl.edu.
• During your final semester, you must be registered for at least 3 hours that count toward a graduate degree: Thesis – 6971, Project Thesis – 6973, Dissertation - 7980.

Recruiting for the Fall 2013 semester is currently underway. As you complete the application, please email any questions you have to the Graduate Admissions and Academic Programs office at graduate@arts.ufl.edu. We look forward to receiving your application.

January 10 - Art History, Music Education, Music History & Literature/Ethnomusicology, and Composition. Doctoral students applying for the University of Florida McKnight Fellowship should be aware of the January 15th deadline. Additional information at McKnight Fellowship.

February 1 - Studio Art, Museum Studies, Art Education (on campus program), Music - Performance, Choral Conducting, Sacred Music, Theory, Conducting (Orchestral and Instr. Wind)

Mid-February - Actors and Designers for the MFA-Theatre program are recruited at national auditions and are formally invited to apply at the conclusion of interviews. We only accept applications from students after the audition process is complete.
