Zach

Originally from Knoxville, IA, Zach is a first year graduate student at UF, where he is enrolled in the Master of Music: Sacred Music program. He is also the graduate assistant for the organ/sacred music areas. Zach recently graduated from Luther College (Decorah, IA), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, concentrating in organ and church music. He also completed the requirements for the music management certificate. At Luther, he studied organ with William Kuhlman and Gregory Peterson and harpsichord with Kathryn Reed-Maxfield. Zach was active in the choral program and served as Deacon of Worship for the Congregation Council as well.

Zach is organist at Asbury United Methodist Church in Orange Park, FL. His duties include playing for two Sunday morning services, accompanying soloists and the adult Chancel Choir, and is a member of the worship planning team.
