Scott R. Ziegler

Scott R. Ziegler is a second-year graduate student at UF majoring in Organ Performance. Scott is the Organist at First United Methodist Church of Ocala Florida and a graduate assistant to the organ studio. Scott is the Dean of the Southeast Regional Chapter for Young Organists, a virtual chapter sponsored by the American Guild of Organists. He acts as Newsletter Editor and Webmaster for both the Gainesville Chapter and the Metro NJ Chapters of the AGO.

Scott received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education magna cum laude from the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. During his three-year tenure at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Mendham, NJ he established a student recital series that continues today. He is a certified music teacher in the state of New Jersey and has taught in public and private schools.
