UF freshman performs at Carnegie Hall

On Oct. 3, 2015, UF freshman Melanie Richardson, a student of Professor Rok Palčič, performed a piano duet of Mozart’s Sonata in D Major KV381 at the benefit gala “Express Yourself Through Music!” for Music Education and Autism at Carnegie Hall, New York. The event included talent from David Bernard, conductor, and fellow youth talents Michael Liamkin, pianist, Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev, violinist, and Remington Howell, pianist. Richardson also received Honorable Mention in the Advanced Category of the American Protégé Romantic Music International Competition and will be performing at the winners recital on March 19, 2016, at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall. To read more about this competition, click here.
