UF Flute Ensemble performs two world premieres at Florida Flute Association Convention

The University of Florida Flute Studio Ensemble was featured on a "Showdown" recital with the FSU Flute Choir. The UF Flute Ensemble performed four compositions: Cloudscapes by Daniel Powers (also performed at the SCI conference in November), Alleluia by Joshua Mazur (world premiere of his flute ensemble arrangement), Saltarello by Mendelssohn (from his Symphony No. 4) and Orange and Blue Rag by Stella Sung (world premiere of the flute choir arrangement by Kristen Stoner).
