Splendor: New York Nights brings New York to Gainesville

There is still time to purchase your tickets to Splendor: New York Nightsa benefit supporting the UF School of Music and School of Theatre and Dance.Taking place Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the Nadine McGuire Theatre and Dance Pavilion on UF’s campus, Splendor promises to bring a taste of New York to Gainesville. 

Highlights Include:

  • Catering by Dean Cacciatore with after-party menu items ranging from NY sirloin canapés with smoked applewood cheese to an array of pastries and chocolates 
  • One-of-a kind performances in Constans Theatre featuring students from the UF Opera Theatre, UF Musical Theatre and UF Concert Choir, among others
  • Special performance by Metropolitan Opera Baritone Nicholas Pallesen of New York
  • After party with dancing and live music by the UF Jazz Band 
  • Silent auction featuring vacation packages, gift certificates to an array of local restaurants, stores and salons, and the chance to meet Celine Dion in Las Vegas
  • Opportunity to expand your arts network

Several ticket packages are available for your convenience.

The Metropolitan Package: $40 per ticket | 8 p.m. arrival
Enjoy student and alumni performances, the after party featuring the UF Jazz Band, silent auction, cash bar and dessert. 

The Big Apple Package: $150 per ticket or $250 couples package | 6 p.m. arrival
Enjoy the Metropolitan Package and more! Arrive early for cocktails, first access to the silent auction and Dinner with Dean Lucinda Lavelli at 6:30 p.m. Valet parking, two drink tickets and all-night access to the Director’s Lounge with additional bar service, seating and entertainment is included.
