During the 17th Annual Women’s History Month Awards Reception held March 25, 2014 at the UF President’s House, School of Music Ph.D. candidate Morgan Rich was one of eight female Ph.D. students named Emerging Scholars. Rich, who was the only representative from the College of Fine Arts among this year’s honorees, is a PhD candidate in the School of Music and is a student of Dr. Silvio dos Santos. This award was given on behalf of the Academic Association for Women and Dr. Madelyn Lockhart.
