Music Education Students Work with Sidney Lanier Music Classes

Dr. Megan Sheridan and students enrolled in Music in the Elementary Schools spent several days throughout the fall semester working with the students at the Sidney Lanier Center, a public school for students with a variety of needs located in Gainesville.  The visits were coordinated with Dr. Don Devito, a graduate of the UF School of Music.  During the visits, music education students demonstrated their instruments, taught one on one lessons on trumpet and percussion, and taught songs and movement activities.
