Flute studio welcomes three guest artists

Three of the top flutists in the country have visited the UF Flute Studio recently. Dr. Mihoko Watanabe of Ball State University presented a masterclass on the evening of January 25. Dr. Erin Torres of the Tower Duo presented a masterclass and guest recital on January 30. Finally, Professor Jill Felber, Miyazawa Artist and Chair of the Music Department at University of California, Santa Barbara, presented a recital with Dianne Frazer, piano, on January 31. The Flute Studio benefitted immensely from each of these masterclasses and performances. Flute majors that performed in the masterclasses include Katelyn Carty, Karisa McKinney, Abigail Helton, Dylan King, Catherine Bush and Mikaela Bearham. Congratulations all around!
