Dr. Steven Thomas performs and teaches in Colombia

In late April 2017, Dr. Steven Thomas, associate professor of music at UF, presented a week-long series of cello and chamber music classes at the Universidad Central and the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. The residencies culminated in an all-Bach recital at the beautifully-renovated 2000-seat Teatro Central and leading the 20-member cello ensemble in a performance at the Javeriana’s recital hall.
