Clarinet Ensemble welcomes Guest Conductor and Clinician Harvey Hermann

The UF Clarinet Ensemble under the direction of Professor Mitchell Estrin welcomed renowned clarinet choir director, Harvey Hermann, to campus to work with the ensemble and guest conduct at their spring concert. Hermann was the founder and director of the clarinet choir at the University of Illinois for 35 years. His musical arrangements and the arrangements by his students comprise the finest clarinet choir library in the world. Hermann has been extremely generous to the University of Florida by donating many of his arrangements and a rare A-flat clarinet to the UF Clarinet Program. Hermann conducted works by Weber and Mozart and coached the ensemble.
