Anthea Behm accepts tenure track position in Creative Photography

The SA+AH is pleased to announce that current Visiting Assistant Professor Anthea Behm has accepted a tenure track position in Creative Photography following a full national search.

Behn received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has received fellowships from the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program and The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston’s Core Program.

The search committee noted that Behm’s visit provided the committee, students and faculty with an exceptional and exceedingly diverse demonstration of her research and teaching. Behm provided innovative examples of interdisciplinary research being conducted with colleagues from across the campus. In her visit with graduate students, Behm offered a truly insightful and considerate philosophy of teaching while also facilitating an intriguing discussion of professional artist practices, future outlooks about the art world, as well as outlining her upcoming calendar that includes several national and international exhibitions.
