    This Tony Award-winning musical with a funny name pays homage to musical comedies of the early 20th century. Music, laughs and surprises abound when a musical theatre addict puts the needle down on his favorite vinyl cast recording of the fictitious 1928 musical, “The Drowsy Chaperone.” The musical comes to life in his lonely living room, unfolding a story of a Broadway starlet determined to abandon show business to marry and the ensuing mayhem created by an array of comically eccentric characters. The Drowsy Chaperone will make you fall in love with the theatre all over again!
