Stitching in Time - Artist Reception

Come see this stunning selection of hand-embroidered small quilts by artist and quilter, Cindy Pitt. Inspired by botany and mythology, many of her quilts reflect her path as a Montessori teacher—the biological and natural illustrations become tools for learning about both natural and mythological worlds.

If you are interested in learning embroidery, come for the workshop on Saturday, from 1pm-3pm. Cindy will provide all the necessary materials to sew a quilted heart pocket, and she will teach a variety of stitches. The gallery will provide light refreshments for workshop participants.

Suggested donation for workshop: $10 for materials and supplies. Please RSVP to 4mostgallery@arts.ufl.edu by 5pm Friday, February 6 to reserve your space in the workshop.
