Brazilian Music Institute / Registration Form

The 2019 Brazilian Music Institute Workshop (group lesson and master classes) is from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on May 13-17, 2019 at the New World School of the Arts (NWSA) in Miami, Florida at 401 NE 2nd Ave. Miami, FL 33132. Students and community members are invited to participate.

The closing concert, Saudades do Brasil: Longing for Brazil, will take place at theMDC Live Arts Space at Miami Dade College - Kendell Wolfson Campus on May 17, 2019.

Enrollment for the 2019 Brazilian Music Institute is limited, so register today by following the steps below. The cost to participate is $200*. 

*NOTE: Participation in the 2019 Brazilian Music Institute is free for current NWSA students.

Registration Information 

To register, please follow the steps below. ALL participants must fill out the form at the bottom of this page (step 1) and complete necessary payments when applicable (step 2). 

1. ALL PARTICIPANTS: Fill out the registration form at the bottom of this page.

2. To complete registration/payment, follow the instructions for the group that applies to you.

  • University of Florida students who wish to receive course credit:

          Visit the UF Registrar’s website and register for one of the following Summer A classes:

          MUS490501G2–Piano
          MUS490501G7–Wind Instruments
          MUS490502D2–Vocal
          MUS490502D6–Guitar
          MUS490502D7Percussion

  • Current New World School of the Arts (NWSA) students: Participation fees for current NWSA students are waived. You only need to fill out the form below (step 1). No additional information is required. 
  • All others who wish to participate in the 2019 Brazilian Music Institute: This includes community members, students from outside institutions (non-UF and non-NWSA students), and UF students who do NOT wish to receive course credit.
